Generic Nexium Uses
Nexium (Esomeprazole)is used in the treatment and prevention of intestinal or stomach ulcers, erosive
esophagitis and other conditions which involve excess stomach acid.
How Taken
Nexium needs to be taken exactly as prescribed with a glass full of water with each dosage.
Never chew, break or crush capsules.
Nexium Precautions
If you have an allergy to benzimidazole, mebendazole or esomeprazole medications
do not take Nexium until speaking with your physician. Tell physician if have ever
suffered liver disease, you may not be able to take Nexium.
Missed Dose
Take missed Nexium dosage as soon as it is remembered. Never take an extra dosage of this medicine.
Nexium Side Effects
Diarrhea, mouth dryness, nausea, headache, constipation and gas are all
possible side effects from Nexium.
Storage
Nexium should be stored room temperature far from heat and moisture.
Overdose
If an overdose of Nexium is suspected emergency
medical care should be called immediately.
More Information
Notify your physician if you are breast feeding, pregnant, taking blood thinners,
Fergon, Nizoral, Valium, Reyatoz or any other prescription or non prescription
medication before taking Nexium. Keep out of pets and children’s reach.
