(Generic name: Norfloxacin)
Generic Noroxin Uses
Noroxin is used in the treatment of bacterial infections like prostrate
infections or urinary infections.
How Taken
Take as prescribed by your physician on empty stomach an hour before or two hours after eating meals
or drinking glass of milk.
Noroxin Precautions
Notify your physician if you have tendon problems,
allergies to Cipro, Levaquin or other antibiotics,
Myasthenia Gravis, hypokalemia, heart, kidney or liver disease or have epilepsy or suffer from seizures
before taking Noroxin.
Missed Dose
Take missed dose of Noroxin when it is remembered. If it is over two hours late, then skip the missed
dose and take the next regularly scheduled dosage.
Noroxin Side Effects
Nausea, cramping of stomach, diarrhea, sweating, fatigue, appetite loss, headache and dizziness are
all possible side effects of Noroxin.
Storage
Noroxin should be kept room temperature far from heat and moisture.
Overdose
If an overdose is suspected of Noroxin call for emergency medical care immediately.
More Information
If you take any of these drugs notify your physician before taking Noroxin,
antidepressants, antibiotics, blood thinners, heart medications insulin or other
diabetic medication , Methadose, Propulsid, caffeine or Vascor.
