Protonix Uses
Generic Protonix (Pantoprazole) is used to treat the increase in stomach acid production.
Prescribed to heal erosive esphagitis and gastro esophageal reflux disease,
Generic Protonix reduces the amount of stomach acid by up to 95% in most patients.
How Taken
Adults should take 40 mgs of Generic Protonix once a day for eight weeks with or without meals.
Your doctor may increase the dosage.
Protonix Precautions
Generic Protonix has been known to cause serious side effects such as eye damage, and inflammation of the pancreas.
Seek medical attention immediately if you experience sever swelling of the face or throat, a skin reaction
or a severe allergic reaction.
Missed Dose
Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is time for the next dose, skip the missed dose
and continue with your regular dosing schedule.
Generic Protonix Possible Side Effects
Side effects are not serious and include abdominal pain, burping, gas, headache, insomnia, rash,
vomiting, nausea and gas.

in a tightly sealed container and keep away from heat, moisture and direct light.
