Singulair Uses
Generic Singulair is used to prevent asthma symptoms.
How Taken
Adults should take a once daily dose in the evening. Take Generic Singulair (Montelukast)
exactly as directed by your doctor.
Singulair Precautions
Adverse reactions may be more likely and more sever in older patients.
Therefore, do not drive or engage in dangerous activity until it is determined
how Generic Singulair will affect you. Tell your doctor if you are allergic
to Generic Singulair or have any other allergies. Tell your doctor if you have
liver or kidney disease or a family history of kidney or liver disease.
Missed Dose
If you miss a dose of Generic Singulair, take it as soon as you remember,
unless it’s time for your next schedule dose. In this case, skip the missed
dose and resume your regular dosing schedule.
Singulair Side Effects
Headache, dizziness, heartburn, upset stomach, fatigue, stomach or tooth pain,
stuffy nose and cough are common side effects and must be tolerated.
If you develop an increased difficulty in breathing, severe rash, fever or flu-like symptoms,
these could be serious and should be reported to your doctor immediately.
Storage
Store in a tightly sealed container away from heat and direct light
Singulair Overdose
Indictors of an overdose may be seizures, sever abdominal pain, and vomiting.
Seek medical treatment.
More Information
Take Generic Singulair as prescribed for the full treatment period, even if you begin
to feel better before the scheduled end of therapy.
Stopping Generic Singulair should be directed by your doctor.
