Zebeta Uses
Generic Zebeta (Bisoprolol) is
used to control high blood pressure (hypertension)
How Taken
To start, adults should take 5mg per day or 2.5mg once a day for patients
with kidney or livere problems. This may be increased by your doctor gradually up to 20mg per day.
Zebeta Precautions
Adverse reactions may be more likely or more sever in patients over sixty.
Do not drive or operate machinery until it is determined how the drug will affect you.
Drink alcohol in careful moderation if at all as Generic Zebeta can interact with alcohol
and cause a dangerous drop in blood pressure.
Missed Dose
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember, unless it is close to the time
for your next regularly scheduled dose. In that case, skip the dose and resume your
regular dosage schedule. Do not double the next dose.
Zebeta Side Effects
Shortness of breath, wheezing, irregular or slow heartbeat (50 beats per minute or less),
pain or feelings of tightness or pressure in the chest, swelling of the ankles, feet
and lower legs and mental depression are serious side effects. Seek medical treatment.
Zebeta Storage
Store in tightly sealed container and keep away from heat and direct light.
Overdose
Indicators of an overdose include asthma-like attacks with wheezing, breathlessness
and very slow pulse and are associated with congestive heart failure.
Zebeta - More Information
Generic Zebeta should not be used in those patients with diabetes since the drug may
mask symptoms of hypoglycemia. Consult your doctor if you have a medical history of
heart disease, asthma or thyroid disease.
