Allegra Uses
Generic Allegra is used to prevent or
relieve symptoms of hay fever and other allergies and to treat itchy skin and hives.
How Taken
For adults and children age 12 and over 60mg twice a day is usually prescribed.
For patients with decreased kidney function, a starting dose of 60mg one time a day is recommended.
Allegra Warnings-Precautions
The side effects of Generic Allegra should not be any different for those over 60 than those in younger persons.
In rare cases, Allegra may cause drowsiness. Do not drive or operate heavy machinery until you determine how the drug
will affect you.
Missed Dose
Take the missed dose as soon as you remember unless it is near your next dose.
In this case, skip the missed does and resume your normal schedule.
Allegra - Possible Side Effects
No serious side effects are associated with the use of Allegra.
Storage
Store in a tightly sealed container and keep away from heat, moisture and direct light.
Generic Allegra - Overdose
Extreme drowsiness and fatigue indicate an overdose may have been taken.
This should be reported to your doctor. Seek medical treatment.
More Information
You should take the drug for the full treatment prescribed, but you may stop if you are feeling better
before the scheduled end of therapy.
