Drug Uses
Generic Altace is used to control
high blood pressure; to treat congestive heart failure; to treat patients with left ventricular dysfunction
and to minimize further damage to the kidney in those persons with diabetes.
Altace: How Taken
2.5mg to 20,g per day is usually prescribed for adults taken in one or two doses.
Warnings, precautions
Consume alcohol only in moderation as it may increase the effect of Generic Altace
and cause an excessive drop in blood pressure.

Missed Dose
Take the missed dose as soon as you remember unless it is near your next dose.
In this case, skip the missed does and resume your normal schedule.
Generic Altace - Possible Side Effects
Fever and chills, sore throat and hoarseness, sudden difficulty breathing or swallowing,
selling of the face, mouth, or extremities, impaired kidney function (ankle swelling, decreased urination)
confusion, yellow discoloration of the eyes or skin (indicating liver disorder) intense itching chest pain or
palpitations and abdominal pain are all considered to be serious side effects and medical treatment should be
sought immediately.
Storage
Store Altace in a tightly sealed container and keep away from heat, moisture and direct light.
Overdose
Dizziness or fainting due to extremely low blood pressure may indicate on overdose.
Seek medical treatment immediately.
