Generic Amaryl is used to treat diabetes in patients who require littlie or no injectible insulin.
It is used in conjunction with a special diet and exercise regimen.
How Taken
Adults should take 1 to 4mg once daily thirty minutes before breakfast.

Adverse reactions from this drug may be more severe and more likely to occur.
Do not drive or engage in hazardous work until you determine how the drug will affect you.
Use alcohol only in moderation and do not use if you are pregnant, nursing or plan to become pregnant.
Missed Dose
Take the missed dose as soon as you remember unless it is near your next dose.
In this case, skip the missed does and resume your normal schedule.
Amaryl Side Effects
Serious side effects are related to hypoglycemia whose symptoms include perspiration or a cold sweat,
restlessness, rapid pulse, anxious feeling, nausea, feelings of dizziness, weakness, poor coordination,
slurred speech, confusion, sleepiness, seizures or convulsions, weakness of an arm, let, or an entire side
of the body, fainting. Seek emergency assistance if any of these occur.
Storage
Store in a tightly sealed container and keep away from heat, moisture and direct light.
Amaryl Overdose
Symptoms are similar to the serious side effects listed above.
