Ambien Uses
Generic Ambien is used for the short
term treatment of insomnia by depressing activity in the central nervous system which causes drowsiness and mild sedation.
How Taken
Adults should take 10mg at bedtime.
Warnings&Precautions
Adverse reactions from this drug may be more severe and more likely to occur in patients over the age of 60.
Do not drive or engage in hazardous work until you determine how the drug will affect you as mental alertness
and physical coordination are affected.
Avoid alcohol and do not use if you are pregnant, nursing or plan to
become pregnant.
Missed Dose
Take the missed dose as soon as you remember unless it is late at night.
Take only when your schedule allows 7 to 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep.
Ambien Side Effects
Hallucinations, abnormal thoughts or behavior, confusion or disorientation, unsteadiness, dizziness,
unusual nervousness, agitation, and difficulty breathing are indicators to call your doctor.
These are serious side effects and should be treated immediately.
Storage
Store in a tightly sealed container and keep away from heat, moisture and direct light.
Generic Ambien: overdose
Severe drowsiness, breathing difficulty, severe clumsiness or dizziness may indicate an overdose.
Seek medical treatment.
