Generic Amoxyl
(Generic name: Amoxycillin)
Amoxyl Uses
Generic Amoxyl is used to treat bacterial infections of the ear, nose throat, skin and soft tissues,
the lower respiratory tract and genitourinary tract. It is used, often with other drugs, to treat
uncomplicated gonorrhea. It is also prescribed preventively before oral surgery for patients at risk for endocarditis.
How Taken
For infections, adults should take 250 to 500mg every 8 hours up to three doses per day.
Warnings/Precautions
The use of Generic Amoxyl should not impair your ability to perform daily tasks.
Missed Dose
Take the missed dose as soon as you remember.
If it is time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule.
Possible Side Effects
Irregular, rapid, or labored breathing, lightheadedness, sudden fainting, joint pain, fever, severe
abdominal pain and cramping with watery or bloody stools, severe allergic reaction marked by sudden
swelling of he lips, tongue, face ot throat, breathing difficulty, skin rash, itching, or hives, unusual
bleeding or bruising, yellowish tinge to eyes or skin are all considered serious and should be treated by your doctor.
Storage
Store in a tightly sealed container and keep away from heat, moisture and direct light.
Overdose
Severe nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, muscle spasticity and seizure might indicate an overdose.
Seek medical treatment as quickly as possible.

Take as prescribed for the full treatment period, even if you feel better before the scheduled end of therapy.
Stopping the rug prematurely may slow your recovery or lead to a rebound infection in which the heartier strains
of bacteria survive and multiply, leading to a more serious and drug resistant infection.
