Avandia Uses
Generic Avandia combined with diet, exercise and cessation of smoking is used for treating type II diabetes.
How Taken Avandia
Generic Avandia should be taken once or twice daily with or without food.
Daiy doses range from 4 to 8 mg either with or without other antidiabetic medications.
Warnings-Precautions
Avandia has been shown to cause mile to moderate accumulation of fluid and can lead to heart failure.
Therefore, the patient should be monitored closely while taking Generic Avandia. Anemia has also been reported.
Missed Dose
If a dose is missed on one full ay, two doses should not be taken the next day;
just skip the missed dose and resume a normal dosing schedule the next day.
Possible Side Effects
Avandia taken alone, or in combination with other drugs can cause repertory tract infection,
headache, back pain, hyperglycemia, fatigue, sinusitis, diarrhea and hypoglycemia.
Storage
Tablets should be stored at room temperature and kept away from direct heat and light.
Overdose
If you suspect an overdose, seek medical attention immediately.

Generic Avandia can cause ovulation in women who no longer ovulate because they are insulin resistant.
Therefore, there is the potential for pregnancy. Patients should be monitored closely.
Also associated with liver injury, it is recommended that liver tests be obtained before starting
therapy and periodically during therapy.
