Generic Cipro: Drug Uses
Generic Cipro is used to treat mild to
sever bacterial infections, including those of the urinary tract, lower repertory tract, bones and joints and the skin.
Generic Cipro is also used to treat certain sexually transmitted diseases, such as gonorrhea and diarrhea caused
by bacterial infections.
How Taken
250 to 750mg every twelve hours twice a day for five to fourtenn days depending on kidney function and the
infection being treated. Gonorrhea isusually treated with a once time dose of 250mg.
Generic Cipro: Warnings/Precautions
DO not drive or operate heavy machinery until it is determined how the medication will affect you.
Avoid alcohol while fighting any infection.
Missed Dose
If you miss a dose of Generic Cipro , take it as soon as you remember, unless it’s close to the next scheduled dose.
In this case, skip the missed dose and resume your regular dosing schedule.
Generic Cipro: Possible Side Effects
Serious reaction to Cipro are rare and include seizures, mental confusion, hallucinations, agitation,
nightmares, depress, shortness of breath, unusual swelling in the face or extremities, and loss of consciousness.
Also skin burning, redness, blister, rash or itching upon exposure to sunlight.
If you experience any of these symptoms, call your doctor immediately.
Storage
Store in a tightly sealed container away from heat and direct light.
Overdose
No cases of overdose have been reported.
