Generic Duricef is used to treat a variety of bacterial infections including those of throat, skin and soft tissues,
and the genitourinary tract.

Adults should take 500mg every twelve hours or 1 to 2mg once a day.

Adverse reactions may be more likely and more sever in older patients.
Therefore, do not drive or engage in dangerous activity until it is determined how the Generic Duracef will affect you.
As with any infection, avoid alcohol while fighting an infection.

If you miss a dose of Generic Duricef, take it as soon as you remember, unless it’s time for your next schedule dose.
In this case, skip the missed dose and resume your regular dosing schedule.
Generic Duricef: Possible Side Effects
Duricef can cause severe allergic reactions (such as breathing difficulty, confusion,
hives, itching, swelling of the face and throat or sweating and lightheadedness)
Sever stomach pain and cramps, fever and bloody diarrhea are considered serious side effects
and should be reported to your doctor immediately.

Store in a tightly sealed container away from heat and direct light. Do not allow the liquid form to freeze.

Indictors of an overdose may be seizures, sever abdominal pain, bloody diarrhea and vomiting.
Seek medical treatment.

Take Duricef as prescribed for the full treatment period, even if you begin to feel better before
the scheduled end of therapy. Stopping Duricef prematurely may slow your recovery or lead to a
rebound infection in which the heartier stains of bacteria survive and multiply.
