Generic Epivir is sued to treat HV infection in combination with zidovudine or other antiretroviral agents.
While not a cure for HIV infection, these drugs may suppress the replication of the virus and delay the
progression of the disease.
Generic Epivir - How Taken
Adults and teenagers weight 110 pounds or more should take 150mg twice per day.
Adults weighing less than 110 pounds should take 2mg per 2.2 pounds of their body weight twice a day.

Do not drive or engage in dangerous activity until it is determined how Generic Epivir will affect you.
Avoid alcohol if liver function is impaired.
Generic Epivir - Missed Dose
Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is near the time for the next dose, skip the missed dose
and resume your regular dosage schedule.

Generic Epivir can cause sever stomach or abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, skin rash, unusual fatigue, fever,
chills and sore throat. Also numbness, burning, tingling, or pain in hands, arms, legs or feet may occur.
